YOUTH BOWLING

   

  • In the Youth Bowling Council (YBC) everyone plays regardless of ability - there is no bench.

  • YBC bowls at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning and Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m.

  • Program is for 4 to 19 year olds

  • Certified coaches are on hand to assist in basic instruction and sportsmanship.

  • A variety of special events are held during the season

  • Elite bowlers have a chance to bowl in more challenging events at the zone, provincial and national levels

  • Cost is $3.50 per game dependent upon age level.  Everyone pays a $35 registration fee and takes part in the YBC fundraising chocolate drive.

Why Be a Youth Bowler?

  IT'S FUN

Children have the opportunity of bowling each week with their friends and meeting new ones. 

Throughout the season kids can compete in tournaments, special activities and functions.
  IT'S INSTRUCTIONAL Bowling is a great sport for all you males and females, not just the athletically gifted.

Registered coaches are always available to help those starting out or those who are looking to improve their game.
IT'S EXCITING Everyone has the opportunity of bowling in local tournaments and the popular 4 Steps to Stardom tournament which leads to provincial and national events.
  IT'S REWARDING League members earn colourful crests, certificates and other awards within their own age groups.
  IT'S FOR EVERYONE Youth Bowling is for all children between 4 and 19 years of age.
